A noted guitar stylist? A musical pilgrim? Yeah, sure, why not? I've been called all of the above. If I were just ONE of those, I'd be bored. But by moving through a wide variety of influences, I've managed to come up with a number of original songs that present new ideas, while respecting the hand-made, real-time, roots music that inspires me in the first place.
An accessible singer/songwriter with a strong, supple voice, Kirsten's music is honest and heartfelt, whether she's telling a story, delving into an emotion, or capturing a moment in time. With a relaxed stage presence and ready smile, Kirsten invites her audience to share her love of music and songwriting. Kirsten performs as a solo act, and as one half of the duo Kirsten & Dave. She is also an accomplished flutist. In addition, she loves to accompany other musicians, both on flute and harmonies.
Jim has a real gift of bringing a room together when he performs. His positive energy and captivating music engages the audience!. His music carries a universal flow of emotions and experience that we can all identify with.
Crowes Pasture, the Boston-based acoustic duo of Monique Byrne and Andy Rogovin, brings leather and lace harmonies to classic and contemporary folk music in a style that draws from old-time, folk and bluegrass traditions, including such artists as Gillian Welch/David Rawlings, Ian & Sylvia and the Civil Wars. Their latest CD made the list of Top Folk Albums of June 2016 as compiled on Folkradio.org.

This is cutting-edge acoustic folk -- mindful of the heart, mindful of ancestry, mindful of life and death and joy; with strings, vocals, and original compositions, the Gusakovs (father and son) create music that reflects their love of Appalachian old-time, classical, gypsy jazz, and their own Eastern European roots.
