*Sponsorship in the Byfield Community Arts Center*

Dear Neighbor,

About a year-and-half-ago, a few Byfield-area citizens got together to talk about and plan how they could bring “the Arts” to our community. They were looking for a space that could host plays, musicals, artistic exhibitions, dance, culinary demonstrations, and other creative productions. The result of their collaborative efforts is the formation of the Byfield Community Arts Center (BCAC) in the former Byfield Town Hall.

Events during our first season included theatrical performances of “ Scrooge” and “Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” each performed by resident theatre troupe “That's The Spirit Players (TTS Players).” BCAC also hosted Saint Patrick and Mardi Gras celebrations, art and music classes, several benefit concerts, and children's dance recitals. And BCAC began monthly installments of the Cat in the Cradle Coffeehouse , featuring local and regional musicians in a cabaret-style setting.

Our upcoming season promises to build on these past events and bring to you – our neighbors – even more diverse art and entertainment. But we need your help.

Please consider becoming a sponsor of the Byfield Community Arts Center. One-hundred-percent of your donation goes toward ensuring that our historic former town hall continues to host BCAC and a variety of performing and visual artists, as well as helping future artists find their muse.

We strive to make BCAC events accessible to local community members by keeping costs down. A donation of just $25 covers the costs for our website for two months; a donation of $200 covers the entire expense of hosting one evening of the Cat in the Cradle Coffeehouse .

All BCAC organizers are volunteers; we give our time because we love the Arts and enjoy bringing the Arts to you. So please, consider sponsoring the BCAC and help keep the Arts alive in our Byfield community.

Sincerely,

The Volunteers of the Byfield Community Arts Center
